Our origin story: born from experience
RoomBloc was built from first-hand experience on the other side of group bookings. Having worked in hotels — particularly in reservations — I was often the one receiving enquiries, negotiating rates, and managing the back-and-forth. That gave me a clear understanding of how the process works, and where it often falls short for both clients and hotels.
I considered moving into accommodation sourcing, but locally that opportunity didn’t exist — so instead, I created it. RoomBloc was built as a new path, and a better way of handling group accommodation.
The goal is simple: bring structure, clarity, and efficiency to a process that’s often fragmented — making it easier, smoother, and more reliable for everyone involved.
